have hope
Sometimes, and sometimes all the time, you just have to fight to have hope. Maybe not in every area of your life, but sometimes in the most tender areas. Where to even gasp the air to take a breath of hope, seems just too hard. Because it’s been too long. It’s too hard. And you’re too tired. And you haven’t seen any evidence a change is coming…
But let me assure you, change is coming. The Change. The One Who flips us right-side up into the greater reality that resurrection is coming. Life will reign!
And here, and now, in the not yet before the final fulfillment of resurrection life, Jesus resurrects hope. And breathes life even now. Because He gives hope that is based on something sure. Sure hope. Isn’t that what we all long for? We don’t have to wonder if He’ll come through or not.
“With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
It’s scary and vulnerable to risk hoping… But let Him lead you. He will never let you down. He always fulfills His promises. And He’s promised He saves. He redeems. He restores.
