"the most fun I've had in 10 years!"
I'm dreadfully behind in posting about our roadtrip journey. Better late than never, here is an early story...Giggling and whizzing by on a scooter...all three of them on one. She exclaimed, "This is the most fun I've had in 10 years!" She is 10 years old. Now, I know her home...her parents (my cousin and her husband) are wonderful nurturers to four precious children. Full of life, precocious, active...their home is the embodiment of fun. Objectively, I doubt it was literally the most fun she'd had in 10 years. What I think she was getting at though, was living life to the full. Seizing the day. Drinking in every drop of each moment. Enjoying this very second as the apex of life.So the gift of each breath, each minute, each experience, can be the fullest experience of life. Right here. Right now.I want to be like her.
