Without explanation, I burst into tears. Longing to see my Great Uncle in California overcame me. And this happened multiple times.It's not that we've spent so much time together. Maybe in fact, it's that we haven't spent much time together. And not one of us is guaranteed another day, another breath.So, for my birthday my parents surprised me with a cross country road trip to go see him. To live the journey along the way there and back.Several people decided that they wanted to enjoy the journey as well and asked me to write about it. So, this is for you.
